WEDNESDAY NEWS - The big news is that Dr. Singh is back and this morning he said that if everything looks good in the morning, he'll send me home. Today I got an irradiated blood transfusion and a platelet transfusion. WBC went up to 1.1. HGB down to 6.8. PLT 12 from 21 the day before. But we'll look at what the numbers look like in the morning ---- they should all be noticeably up. Dr. Singh says that I'm better off neutropenic at home [home germs that my body already knows] than at the hospital with mystery germs. Although everyone is very careful. I wear a mask on laps and anyone coming into my room wears a mask, of course.
